For retailers like the Athlete’s Foot, back to school is a vitally important event on the calendar. Staff at The Athlete’s Foot undergo intensive training to become fit technicians – it’s a key point of difference when compared with other shoe retailers.
With this TVC, the brief was to ensure consumers understand this point of difference and to challenge similar claims from less specialised retailers. We decided to have some fun with it, creating the character, Dean – the ultimate slack-jawed yokel – to represent The Athlete’s Foot’s competitors.
Two Tractors was responsible for everything from concept development to production and post-production, delivering 30, 15 and 6 second versions for use across a variety of mediums.
